oxidising liquids
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because the organic substance contains oxygen or halogen atoms which are chemically bonded only to carbon or hydrogen and hence, the classification procedure does not need to be applied
Justification for type of information:
In a statement (see attached justification) it was concluded that the substance has no oxidizing properties.

In accordance with UN Manual of Tests and Criteria: Appendix 6 "Screening procedures for substances which may have oxidizing properties", the classification procedure for oxidizing substances in Division 5.1 does not need to be applied.

Reason / purpose for cross-reference:
data waiving: supporting information

Description of key information

No oxidising properties (based on structural features).

Key value for chemical safety assessment
