Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Based on analytical information, the test substance contains water. In a DSC measurement, evaporation of water occurred between 90 °C and 180 °C; melting occurred between 215 °C and 230 °C; at 230 °C, thermal decomposition of test substance started.

Vapour pressure before melting of the test substance could not be determined due to water evaporation and immediately after melting, thermal decomposition started. The methods can only be applied for compounds that do not decompose under test conditions.

An estimated value was computed by EPI Suite tool, using the SMILE notation as input: O=S(O[Zn]OS(=O)c1ccccc1)c2ccccc2.

Since such computational tool may not deal with salts, ionic interactions were represented as covalent bonds.

Moreover, experimental melting point of 223 °C and water solubility of 887 mg/l were used.

The predicted vapour pressure was 7E-10 Pa at 25 °C.
