Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

The solubility of 1,1'-Azobis(cyclohexane-1-carbonitrile) in demineralised water was determined using the column elution method.

All samples showed very good correspondence. Standard deviation within the samples as well as all over the plateau was very low. The difference of concentrations measured for both flow rates is much smaller than 30 %, therefore independency of solubility and flow rate is given.

At the plateau, the concentration of 1,1'-Azobis(cyclohexane-1-carbonitrile) in water had reached:

3.36 ± 0.12 mg/L at 20 ± 0.5 °C

= 3.36 ± 0.12 * 10-3 kg/m3 (SI units)

(mean value of all twelve fractions)

No observations arousing doubts concerning the accuracy of the results and the validity of the study were made.
