A surface tension of 53 mN/m at 20 °C was determined for HPP 12879 -1.
Executive summary:

The surface tension according to OECD 115 of an aqueous solution (1 g/L) of HPP 12879 -1 at 20 °C was determined using a plate tensiometer. A commercially available tensiometer based on the plate method has been used to measure the force which is required to withdraw a horizontally suspended plate from the surface of the test solution. The surface tension was determined in a mixture of 0.9999 g test item in 1 L demineralized water (= approx. 1 g/L) at 20 °C. Since the test item was not completely soluble at 1 g/L the suspension was stirred for 24 hours and filtered through 0.45 μm Chromafil Xtra PET 45/25 filter. Clear solutions were obtained after filtration. A mixture of 72 mL filtrate and 8 mL deionized water was prepared and used for the measurement.

A surface tension of 53 mN/m was determined for HPP 12879 -1.
