Results and discussion

Auto-ignition temperature (liquids / gases)
Key result
Auto-ignition temperature:
410 °C
Remarks on result:
other: +/- 5ºC

Any other information on results incl. tables

The lowest temperature giving a positive effect was 414ºC.

The injected volume was 200ul, the ignition delay was 10s. At a temperature of 409ºC no ignition was observed.

Therefore, after rounding-off to the next-lower multiple of 5ºC:

Auto-ignition temperature of Hydroxy Linalool: 410 +/- 5ºC
