Description of key information

The flammability of lutetium oxalate was investigated using the UN N.1 test method in a GLP study. Based on the negative result, the test item is not considered to be a flammable solid.

Furthermore, based on experience in day-to-day handling and use, the test item is not considered pyrophoric or not to emit flammable gases in contact with water. Finally, since no relative self-ignition temperature could be determined up to 400°C in a test performed according to the EU A.16 method, the substance is not self-heating either.
