Additional information

The acute toxicity was tested on fish on the registered substance. The study was performed not in GLP, no guideline is reported and no details are available, with the exception of the method A-11. The LC0 was assessed at 200 mg/L, the LC50 and the LC100 > 1000 mg/L.

To confirm the non toxicity on fish other studies on similar substances were evaluated.

The acute toxicity (fish) was determined in a 96h semi-static assay according to OECD 203 (1992) and Real Decreto 363/1995 (BOE núm. 133 de Junio de 1995) on Similar substance 02. The results obtained in this test assess that the substance is not toxic for Brachydanio rerio at the maximum concentration of 100 mg/L in 96h.

8 trouts were observed after 24h and after 48h at concentrations of 100 mg/L, 200 mg/L and 1000 mg/L of Similar substance 01 the number of survivors was noted. From this test a result of LC50 > 1000 mg/L was obtained.
