Conclusion on classification

Preliminary classification based on currently available data:

Short-term aquatic toxicity data are available for two trophic levels (fish and aquatic invertebrates). No effects were observed up to the highest concentrations tested (nominal test concentration of ≥100 mg/L). Long-term aquatic toxicity data are not available. The substance is qualified as readily biodegradable. Based on all this information, the substance needs not be classified for the environment according to regulation EC/1272/2008 (CLP).
