Description of key information

Key studies on acute aquatic toxicity are available for fish (Rainbow trout; 96h-LC50 > 100 mg/l, based on nominal concentrations but analytically confirmed) (Envigo, 2018), aquatic invertebrates (Daphnia magna; 48h-EC50 = 46 mg/l, based on nominal concentrations but analytically confirmed) (Envigo, 2018) and algae (Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata; 72h-ErC50 = 18 mg/l, based on geometric mean measured concentrations) (Envigo, 2018). Based on the available acute data, the substance should not be classified for acute toxicity but should be classified as Aquatic Chronic 3 under the CLP Regulation.
