Additional information

The substance RZ 97 shows a toxic behavior to aquatic environment. The values of lethal concentrations are law for all trophic levels:

LC50= 28.2 mg/L for freshwater fishes, LC50= 11.3 mg/L for daphnia magna, EC50= 6 mg/L for algae.

Conclusion on classification

Based on the Regulation 1272/2008: ‘long-term hazard’ means for classification purposes the hazard of a substance or mixture caused by its chronic toxicity following long-term exposure in the aquatic environment. The substance is capable to do a serious toxic effects to the aquatic environment, therefore is classified as H411: Aquatic Chronic 2.
