The relative density of Calcium bis(metaphosphate) (CAS 13477-39-9, EC 236-769-6) was determined using the gas comparison method at a temperature of 21 °C.

The determination of the relative density was performed four times (two main tests); by three fold measurements of four independent test item samples.

The density of Calcium bis(metaphosphate) (CAS 13477-39-9, EC 236-769-6) was determined to be 2.806 g/cm³ (= 2806 kg/m³) at 20 °C (mean value of the two main tests, n = 4).

Description of key information

Relative density: 2.820 (OECD 109, A.3., air comparison pycnometer)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
2.806

Additional information

The relative density of the test item was determined using the pycnometer method according to OECD 109 and EU Method A.3.
