Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The vapour pressure of cyclohexane, 5-isocyanato-1-(isocyanatomethyl)-1,3,3-trimethyl-, homopolymer, acetone oxime-blocked was determined according to OECD guideline 104 [2006] with the vapour pressure balance at temperatures from 129.2 (minimum temperature with sufficient signal intensity) to 150.7 °C. The value at 20 °C was determined by Antoine equation fit and extrapolation as 7.6 x 10E-13 Pa.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0 Pa
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

The numerical value of the key value (7.6 x 10E-13 Pa) is not accepted by the present version of IUCLID.

Since thermal cleavage of the blocking agent acetonoxime is expected in the temperature range of the measurements, the measured values should be considered as an upper limit of the vapour pressure of the test substance because the blocking agent and the remaining unblocked substance may have contributed to the signal intensity.
