Accidental release measures

• Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.

• Prevent spilled product from entering sewer systems and drainages.

• Absorb the product by using an inert absorbing material such as earth and collect into suitable labelled containers.

• Flush area with water once spilled product has been clean-up.

Handling and storage

• Take precautionary measures for products which powder has explosive properties.

• Local exhaust ventilation on open containers which contain the substance.

• Avoid formation of dust.

Exposure controls / personal protection

• Do not breathe dust.

• Wear a fine dust protection mask (EN140 or EN149) with filter P3 (EN143).  

• Wear protective gloves for chemical products (EN374/EN388).

• Wear safety goggles when manipulating the product.

• Wear protective clothing.

We declare that the manufacture of the substance takes place under strictly controlled conditions as described under Article 18(4) and Section 2.1 of the Guidance for Intermediates.

We have received confirmation from the user that the synthesis of other substance from this intermediate takes place under strictly controlled conditions during its whole lifecycle as described under Article 18(4) and Section 2.1 of the Guidance for Intermediates.

Effectiveness:

Prevention of exposure since the substance is rigorously contained by technical means during its whole lifecycle and procedural and control technologies are used to minimise emission and any resulting exposure as described under Article 18(4).
