Endpoint:
viscosity
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
From 16-12-2013 to 26-06-2014
Reliability:
2 (reliable with restrictions)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
comparable to guideline study with acceptable restrictions
Remarks:
Test method is according to APAG-FA-004 (industry standard, not guideline, but similar). Test substance adequately specified. Considered sufficient for classification purpose. Therefore validation applies, with restrictions, as not GLP, and lack of experimental details.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Fluid liquid.
Relevant for potential aspiration hazard (expected < 20.5 mm2/s at 40°C).
Executive summary:

The viscosity of the test substance was determined according to APAG-FA-004 method, with a Brookfield viscometer. Duplicate measurements were performed at each temperature, respectively 20 and 24°C. The result was below the limit value of <10 mPa.s at both temperatures.
