Additional information

The key study describes the determination of the explosive properties of the test substance based on an EU guideline.

The test substance was exposed to thermal and mechanical stress. No positive reaction was observed during the performance of the test. It was therefore concluded that the test substance is not explosive when exposed to thermal or mechanical stress under the conditions of the test.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on the outcome of the explosivity testing performed according to the EU guideline, the test substances is not to be classified for explosive properties according to EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 or Directive 67/548/EEC (Dangerous Substances Directive).
