Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information
No studies on the "Biodegradation in water" are available for the substance in itself.
Nevertheless studies were conducted with an analogue molecule (Similar Substance 01). Further information are reported in the Read Across justification attached to section 13.
The first study was carried out to determine the ready biodegradation of the test substance. The biochemical oxygen demand was determined by measuring the dissolved oxygen concentration before and after 5 days incubation at 20 °C in different test concentrations diluted in water saturated with dissolved oxygen that contains a seed of micro-organisms. The BOD5 and COD of the test substance was found to be 0 mg O2/g and 675 mg O2/g, respectively. In another study, the values were as follows: BOD5 = 2.8 mg/g O2, COD = 335.34 mg/g O2 (BOD5/COD = 0.085).
Relevant is the BOD5/COD quotient which is not > 0.5, therefore the substance is not indicative of rapid degradation. Taking into consideration the data from the two studies, the test substance can be regarded as not readily biodegradable.
