Description of key information

The dilithium adipate test item decomposed at temperatures greater than 250°C. For both the dilithium azelate and dilithium sebacate test items, no boiling point was observed below 400°C. Therefore, a boiling temperature could not be established for the test items.

Additional information

All three studies are GLP compliant and follow OECD guideline 103 and EU method A2. Therefore, all three studies were given a reliability rating of 1 (reliable without restrictions). The dilithium adipate test item decomposed at temperatures greater than 250°C. For both the dilithium azelate and dilithium sebacate test items, no boiling point was observed below 400°C. Therefore, a boiling temperature could not be established for the test items. Due to two of the test items having boiling temperatures of greater than 400°C and the third decomposing at temperatures greater than 250°C, the key value for the chemical safety assessment for the boiling point at 101325 Pa is taken as > 250°C.
