First-aid measures

Description of first aid measures:

In all cases of doubt, or when symptoms persist, seek medical attention.

In case of inhalation:Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.

In case of skin contact:Remove immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water for at least 15 minutes.

In case of eyes contact:Rinse cautiously with water for at least 15minutes.

Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do.

Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.

In case of ingestion:Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting.Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed:

Burning sensation, cough, wheezing, laryngitis, shortness of breath. Extremely destructive to tissue of the mucous membrane and upper respiratory tract, eyes and skin.

Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed:

N/A.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media:

Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray, dry chemical foam, or chemical foam.

Unsuitable extinguishing media: N/A.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:

Carbon oxides and nitrogen oxides.

Advice for fire-fighters:

As in any fire, wear a self-contained breathing apparatus inpressure-demand, NIOSH approved respiratorwith a green cartridge (US), or appropriate CEN approved respirators (Europe), and full protective gear.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:

For non-emergency personnel: Remove ignition sources. Provide adequate ventilation. Avoid inhalation of vapour or dust. Avoid skin and eye contact. Wear protective gloves/protectiveclothing/eye protection/face protection.

For emergency responders:Wear aNIOSH approved respiratorwith a green cartridge (US), or appropriate CEN approved respirators (Europe)if mist, vapor or dust is generated.

Environmental Precautions:

Avoid disposing into drainage/sewer system or directly into the aquatic environment. Keeping away from drains, surface-andground-water and soil.

Methods for Containment and Cleaning up:

Remove source of heat, sparks, flame, impact, friction or electricity. Avoid raising dust. Dike spill.

Recover undamaged and minimally contaminated material for reuse and reclamation. Shovel.suck or sweep up.

Place in suitable containers for disposal or reclamation.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling:

Protective measures:Use only in a well-ventilated area. Do not breathe dust, vapor, mist, or gas. Do not get ineyes, on skin, or on clothing. Take precautionary measures against static discharges.

Advice on general occupational hygiene:Wash thoroughly after handling. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:

Keep container tightly closed. Hygroscopic. Store in a cool and well ventilated place.
