Additional information

Acute ecotoxicity results are available for fish, Daphnia and algae (Evonik Stockhausen 2010a, Evonik Stockhausen 2010b, Evonik Stockhausen 2010c). EC50 results of >100 mg/L were determined for fish and Daphnia and an EC50 of 139.57 mg/L was determined for algae, based on growth rate.

Conclusion on classification

The lowest EC50 from an acute ecotoxicity study is >100 mg/L. This result is above the threshold for both acute and chronic environmental classification and therefore ammonium perrhenate would not be classified for the environment.
