Justification for classification or non-classification

In accordance with the screening criteria for explosive properties in section 2.1.4.3 of Regulation EC 1272/2008 and section 3.3 (Table A6.1) of the UN Recommendations of the Transport of Dangerous Goods Manual of Test and Criteria (5th revised edition) it can be concluded that the substance does not contain functional groups associated with explosive properties. The substance therefore does not require classification as explosive in accordance with Regulation EC 1272/2008.

In accordance with the screening criteria described in EU Method A.14 of Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008; it can be concluded that the substance does not contain functional groups associated with explosive properties. The substance therefore does not require classification as explosive in accordance with Directive 67/548 EEC.
