Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
In conclusion, the partition coefficient (Pow) of Reactive Blue F08-0170 in n-octanol-water was determined to be < 0.0096 +/- 0.0088 (95% confidence interval) using shake flask method.

Executive summary:

This study has been performed in accordance with the study plan, Directive of the European Communities: Methods for the Determination of Physico-Chemical Properties (A.8), Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, Guideline No. 107,”Partition Coefficient (n-octanol/water): Shake Flask Method”, adopted July 27, 1995 and the Principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and reported with a valid GLP certificate.

 

The purpose of this study was to determine the partition coefficient of Reactive Blue F08-0170. The test item is a reaction mass of 6 components. For this test only 4 of the main components were determined. The two remaining components are contained in a very low concentration, causing no effect on the results of the study.

In conclusion, the partition coefficient (Pow) of Reactive Blue F08-0170 in n-octanol-water was determined to be < 0.0096 ± 0.0088 (95% confidence interval) using shake flask method.
