Additional information

The melting/freezing point for the hydroxybenzene sulphonic acid has been measured at about -2°C. The influence of sulphuric acid and water is to lower considerably the melting point, due to sulphuric acid, which has this typical behaviour, depending on the water content. The presence of disulphonic acid, whose melting point value will be a little higher that for monosulphonic acid, is not enough to have an impact on the melting point of the multiconstituent, that will be not far from the zero degrees. The risk assessment consequence is that the substance at 25°C are in fact liquid
