Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The Henry’s law constant of the registered substance may be calculated according to general physical principle, from the vapour pressure, molecular weight and water solubility of the substance using the following equation:

HENRY = VP • MOLW / SOL

Explanation of symbols:

- VP = vapour pressure [Pa]

- MOLW = molecular weight [g/mol]

- SOL = solubility [mg/L]

- HENRY = Henry's law constant [Pa m³/mol]

Using a vapour pressure of 3.46 Pa, a molecular weight of 176.26 g/mol and a water solubility of 490 mg/L gives a Henry’s law constant for the registered substance of 1.24 Pa m³/mol.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Henry's law constant (H) (in Pa m³/mol):
1.24
at the temperature of:
25 °C
