Description of key information
The bioaccumulation factor of 1H-Indene-1,3(2h)-dione, 2-(3-hydroxy-2-quinolinyl)- was estimated to be 166.5 L/kg using the BCFBAF model included in the EPI-Suite Programm concluding that the substance has a low potential to bioaccumulate in biota. Although experimental BCF values are required for assessing the B criterion, this case shows a BCF of 166.5 which is far below the trigger value of 2000. Therefore the substance is considered not B.
