At the beginning of the test, the vapour pressure of the test substance decreased slightly every next measurement, due to the removal of volatile impurities. After measurement 123, this decrease became negligible and the vapour pressure was stable. So from that moment on, the collected data were used for the final result.

According to the guideline, the recommended range for the static method is 10 up to 100,000 Pa. However, in the paragraph Apparatus is stated that the static method can even be used at below 0.1 Pa whe using a capacitance manometer. As stated in the study protocol, the used apparatus is applicable >6 * 10 -3 Pa ( a capacitance manometer can be used in the pressure range from about 10 -5 to well above 105 Pa). The measured vapour pressures of V184844 were > 0.5 PA. All sensors, thermometers and pressure sensors heads are calibrated over the decades used in the experiments. Pressure sensor heads are calibrated from high vaccum (<<10 -5 Pa) to be seen as '0' value up to 1 Pa. Thermometers are calibrated in the measurement range used for testing.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The value of the vapour pressure of V184844 (CH02586) at 90, 100 and 110°C was determined to be:
p(90°c) = 0.70 +- 0.07 Pa
p(100°C) = 0.96 +- 0.07 Pa
p(110°C) = 1.29 +- 0.07 Pa
