Additional information

Ames tests are negative for all the Ames tests and publications available for similar substances.

Based on the tests results of other in vitro tests, no mutagenic effects were seen for similar substances.

There are also some in vivo tests on similar substances which does not show any effects.

Despite some results are not conclusive, there is not enough evidence to consider Basic Green 1 as mutagen.
