Any other information on results incl. tables

The determination of the flammability of the test item was performed in accordance with the

EEC Directive 92/69, EEC Publication No. L383, December 1992 and Council Regulation (EC)

No. 440/2008, 30 May 2008, Part A, Methods for the determination of physico-chemical

properties, A. 10 Flammability (solids).

In contact with the ignition source, R-Pantolactone melted immediately and could not be ignited

with a flame. A milky residue remained.

R-Pantolactone could not be ignited with a flame during the preliminary test (contact time of

about 2 minutes). Therefore, no main test was performed.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
non flammable
Remarks:
Migrated information
Conclusions:
R-Pantolactone can not be considered as "highly flammable".
Executive summary:

R-Pantolactone could not be ignited with a flame during the preliminary test (contact time of

about 2 minutes).

Therefore, no main test was performed.

Based on the results of this study, R-Pantolactone can not be considered as "highly flammable"

according to the criteria of the guideline.
