First-aid measures

General advice:


Move out of dangerous area. Consult a physician. Show the safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance. Do not leave the victim unattended.
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.


If inhaled: If unconscious, place in recovery position and seek medical advice.
Keep respiratory tract clear.


In case of skin contact: Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Wash off with soap and plenty of water.


In case of eye contact: Remove contact lenses. Protect unharmed eye. Keep eye wide open while rinsing. If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist.
Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eye-lids, for at least 15 minutes.


If swallowed: Keep respiratory tract clear. Do not give milk or alcoholic beverages. If symptoms persist, call a physician.


 

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.


Special protective equipment for firefighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus for firefighting if necessary.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Use personal protective equipment. Ensure adequate ventilation.


Environmental precautions: Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so.


Methods for cleaning up: Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal. Clean contaminated floors and objects thoroughly while observing environmental regulations.

Advice on safe handling: Avoid exceeding the given occupational exposure limits. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

Advice on protection against fire and explosion: Normal measures for preventive fire protection.


Hygiene measures: Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering eating areas.


Requirements for storage areas and containers: Store in original container. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Electrical installations / working materials must comply with the technological safety standards. Keep tightly closed.


Advice on common storage: No special restrictions on storage with other products.
