Version / remarks:
CIPAC MT 3.2.1 / SPO/BF/01/b
Principles of method if other than guideline:
CIPAC MT 3.2.1 / SPO/BF/01/b
The density determination of the test item L--Glutamic Acid Monopotassium Salt Monohydrate was based in measuring the mass of the substance occupying a unit volume at 20˚C. The whole process uses the Gay-Lussac pycnometer in accordance to a test procedure no. SPO/BF/01/b (ed. 5) based on CIPAC MT 3.3.2. The volume of the Gay-Lussac pycnometer (ISO 3507:1999) was measured using Standard Water of purity 3 (PN-EN ISO 3696: 1999) of a defined density (ISO 649/2 E). The density is calculated by dividing the mass of the tested material by its volume.
