Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
After correction, the determined value of surface tension of aqueous solution of L-Glutamic Acid Monopotassium Salt Monohydrate (concentration of the test item equals 1.0 g/L) at 20.0°C is 72.51 mN/m.

Executive summary:

Determination of the surface tension was carried out in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure SOP/BS-07/b (edition 5) based on the OECD Guideline for Testing of Chemicals no115 “Surface tension of Aqueous Solutions”.

The method is based on the measurement of the maximum force necessary to exert vertically, a ring being in contact with the surface of the test liquid placed in a measuring cup, and to separate it from this surface, and to draw up the film that has formed.

After correction, the determined value of surface tension of aqueous solution of L-Glutamic Acid Monopotassium Salt Monohydrate (concentration of the test item equals 1.0 g/L) at 20.0°C is 72.51 mN/m.
