Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Additional information

Data is available for biodegradation in water (screening tests) and adsorption/desorption. The studies have been obtained from ECHA through the inquiry process and are therefore considered as reliable with restrictions. Hydrolysis was not determinable at pH 4, 7 and 9 for the test substance [pretests], but during the water solubility test it was noted that the substance undergoes rapid hydrolysis.

Biodegradation

The test substance was not readily biodegradable (37.5 % degradation after 28 d) in a GLP study according to OECD Guideline No. 301 D (Ready Biodegradability: Closed Bottle Test).

Transport and distribution

The adsorption coefficient of the test substance was determined in a GLP study according to OECD Guideline No. 121 and EU Method C19 using the HPLC method and soil-adsorption-reference data. The log Koc value at neutral pH was > 5.63, the Koc > 427000 and hence, the substance has a high sorption potential onto soil organic matter.
