Description of key information

No ignition was observed up to the upper temperature limit of the test, EU Method A.16, Möller 2012b

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The relative self-ignition temperature of the test material was determined in accordance with the standardised guideline EU Method A.16. Under the conditions of the test, the test material indicated two small endothermic effects at temperatures of approximately 50 ºC and 320 ºC. No ignition was detected at temperatures below 400 ºC, the upper limit of the test.

The study was performed in line with accepted standardised guidelines with a high standard of reporting. The study was assigned a reliability score of 1 according to the principles for assessing data quality set out in Klimisch (1997) and considered suitable for assessment as an accurate reflection of the test material. The available data are considered complete and the conclusion of the study, no ignition observed up to the upper limit of the test, was carried forward for risk assessment.
