Description of key information

No bioaccumulation potential determined for n-nonanoic acid (NITE, 2000).

Additional information

Additional information on aquatic bioaccumulation is given in the resptective endpoint summary.

For terrestrial bioaccumulation, no data are available (not required for REACH). Based on the low potential for adsorption to soil, the ready biodegradability, and the very low bioconcentration determined for fish, any relevant bioaccumulation in soil invertebrate organisms can be excluded with high confidence.
