Symptoms / effects after eye contact: Causes serious eye damage.

Chronic symptoms: No known symptoms and delayed effects.

Based on the risk assessment, the competent physician will establish the most appropriate medical monitoring protocol to protect the state of

health of workers, in accordance with Article 10 of Directive 98/24 / EC (Title IX of Legislative Decree 81/2008).

No specific antidotes and contraindications are known.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray, carbon dioxide, dry powder, foam.

Unsuitable extinguishing media: No unsuitable media identified.

Hazardous Combustion Products in Case of Fire: Thermal decomposition or combustion can cause the release of toxic and hazardous fumes including COx and formaldehyde.

Protection during firefighting: Do not try to extinguish the fire without the use of self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and suitable protective clothing. Wear boots, gloves, overalls, eye and face protection, suitable respirators, compliant with the relevant UNI / EN standards. Use the devices indicated in the maximum protection conditions on the basis of the information reported in the previous subsections.

Accidental release measures

Means of protection for those who do not intervene directly: Wear the Personal Protective Equipment indicated in the emergency procedures. PPE must comply with EN standards.

Emergency procedures for those who do not intervene directly: Remove all possible sources of ignition, provide adequate ventilation, evacuate personnel to safe areas.

Avoid breathing dust / mists.

Wear appropriate protective equipment (see section 8) to minimize exposure to the product.

Protective equipment for emergency responders: Wear appropriate protective equipment (see section 8) to minimize exposure to the product.

Emergency procedures for emergency responders: Stop the release, if it can be done safely. Wear appropriate protective equipment (see Section 8) to minimize exposure to the product.

Do not disperse in the environment. In case of accidental release or spills, prevent the substance from reaching drains, water courses, groundwater. If the substance has flowed into drains, into a water course or has contaminated the soil or vegetation, notify the competent authorities.

Methods for containment: Collect the leaked product and place it in containers for recovery or disposal without creating dust, sucking up the spill with a suitable aspirator. Reduce dust in the air and prevent shedding. Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal. Use non-sparking tools and equipment.

Cleaning methods: Contain and absorb the spilled product with inert absorbent materials and wash the area with water.

Store the recovered product pending the disposal company.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling: The substance can only be handled by suitably trained and authorized personnel.

Handle in a well-ventilated area, away from sources of heat, flames, sparks and all possible sources of ignition. Avoid dispersion of dust. As with all dry powders,

It is recommended that equipment in contact with it be grounded in order to dissipate the potential for static electricity.

Keep the product away from sewage drains, surface water and groundwater.

Wear personal protective equipment. Obtain specific instructions before use. Do not manipulate before reading and understanding all warnings. Avoid contact with eyes and skin, and inhalation of dust.

Hygiene measures: Do not eat, drink or smoke during use. Wash hands after each handling.

Remove contaminated clothing and personal protective equipment (PPE) before entering eating areas.

Storage conditions: Keep container tightly closed and in a well-ventilated place.

Storage location: Store in a dry and well ventilated place, away from sources of ignition, heat and direct sunlight.

Avoid direct contact with the eyes and skin, avoid inhaling dust / mists. Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment useful for reducing exposure. Do not handle the substance until all safety precautions have been read and understood.

Exposure controls / personal protection

The substance is an intermediate, used under strictly controlled conditions.

Appropriate technical controls: Adopt technical containment and process control measures such as to minimize worker exposure. Appropriate technical measures include: the use of closed systems, as far as possible; adequate ventilation to control worker exposure.

Provide an emergency shower and an eye washing unit.

Eye protection: Wear tightly fitting safety goggles or protective face shield (EN 166).

Skin and body protection: Choose the appropriate protective medium according to the activity and exposure, eg. apron, boots, suitable clothing, in accordance with the EN13982 standard.

Hand protection: Wear protective gloves compliant with directive 89/686 / EEC and the standard EN 374 derived from it. Keep in mind the information given by the manufacturer regarding permeability, breakthrough times, and workplace conditions (mechanical stress, duration of contact). Using an appropriate cream can help prevent skin dryness.

Respiratory protection: Adopt respiratory protection devices, use suitable filter masks, compliant with the relevant EN standards.

Protection against thermal risks: Not foreseen in the standard practices of use of the substance. Evaluate any personal protective equipment based on particular conditions of use of the same.

Environmental Exposure Controls: Emissions from manufacturing processes, including those from ventilation equipment should be controlled for compliance with environmental protection legislation. Take all the necessary precautions to avoid the spread of the product in the surrounding environment.
