First-aid measures

- General advice: Move out of dangerous area. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

- Inhalation: Move to fresh air.

- Skin contact: Wash off with soap and water.

- Eye contact: Immediately flush eye(s) with plenty of water.

- Ingestion: Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.  If a person vomits when lying on his back, place him in the

recovery position. Prevent vomiting of possible.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media

- Suitable extinguishing media: Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.

- Extinguishing media which shall not be used for safety reasons: High volume water jet

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture

- Specific hazards during fire fighting: Do not use a solid water stream as it may scatter and spread fire. Do not allow run-off from fire fighting to enter drains or water courses.

Advice for firefighters

- Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

- Further information: In the event of fire and/or explosion do not breathe fumes. Use water spray to cool unopened containers. Fire residues and contaminated fire extinguishing water must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations. Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. This must not be discharged into drains.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures

- Personal precautions: Ensure adequate ventilation.

Environmental precautions

-Environmental precautions: Should not be released into the environment. Avoid subsoil penetration. Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. If the product contaminates rivers and lakes or drains inform respective authorities.

Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up

- Methods for cleaning up: Pick up and transfer to properly labelled containers. Use mechanical handling equipment.

- Additional advice: Local authorities should be advised if significant spillages cannot be contained.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling

- Advice on safe handling: Dispose of rinse water in accordance with local and national regulations.

- Advice on protection against fire and explosion: When using do not smoke.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities

- Requirements for storage areas and containers: Store in original container. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. To maintain product quality, do not store in heat or direct sunlight.

- Advice on common storage: No special restrictions on storage with other products.

- Other data: No decomposition if stored and applied as directed.

Specific end uses

- Cosmetic ingredient
