First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Symptomatic treatment.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with water and continue washing for
at least 15 minutes. Obtain medical attention without delay,
preferably from a ophtalmologist.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothes and wash with soap and water.
Obtain medical attention.

Wash clothing before reuse. Discard contaminated leather
articles such as shoes and belt.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: If patient is fully conscious, give two glasses of water.
Induce vomiting. Obtain medical attention immediately. If
medical advice is delayed, and if the person has swallowed a
moderate volume of material (50 ml or more) then give 100 ml
of hard liquor such as whiskey. For children, give
proportionally less liquor, according to weight.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Alcohol-type foam or universal-type foam, CO2, dry chemical.

Product arising from burning: Oxides of carbon, nitrogen and silicon

Protective equipment: Selfcontaining breathing apparatus and protective clothing.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Soak up small spills with absorbent material. Larger spills
should be collected for disposal. Wear suitable protective
equiment. Avoid contact with eyes and skin.

Handling and storage

Handling: The usual precautions shall be observed. Suitable
protective equipment as safety goggles and gloves should be
used, if there is a possibility of exposition to the
substance. Contact with the substance should be avoided.

Wash thoroughly after handling.

Storage: The substance should be stored at room temperature, away
from heat and flame and in closed equipment to keep vapours

in and moisture out.

Avoid substance on the outside of the containers.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The substance is packed in metal drums of 20 and 200 liter

capacity.
