Administrative data

First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove promptly to fresh air.  If not breathing, administer

artificial respiration.  Administer oxygen if breathing is

difficult.  Seek medical advice if adverse reaction occurs

and persists.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush immediately with copious amounts of water or saline,

including under eyelids.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected area with soap and water.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting.  Seek medical advice if adverse

reaction occurs and persists.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, dry powder, carbon-dioxide, foam.

Product arising from burning: May produce toxic fumes including oxides of carbon.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Full protection by suitable clothing and positive pressure,

self-contained breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Sweep up powder and dispose of in a safe manner eg. by

incineration, avoiding contact with skin and eyes.

Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable: There should be very little waste generated

but any residue should be swept up and appropriately

destroyed.  When the material is dissolved in the solvent it

is anticipated that the substance is totally used.  However

if any minute amount remains in the waste solvent, this

diluent is transported to the U.K. for appropriate disposal,

with Photosol 7-222 being an inherent part of the solvent

waste.

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable:  Substance is not hazardous.

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: N/A

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: N/A

Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable.

Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable.

Public at large - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not applicable.

Public at large - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Not applicable.

Public at large - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not applicable.

Public at large - Possibility of destruction - others: Substance will not be available to the public.
