First-aid measures

General advice:

Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing

Eye contact:

Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician.

Skin contact:

Wash off immediately with plenty of water.

Ingestion:

Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Drink 1 or 2 glasses of water.

Do not induce vomiting without medical advice.

Call a physician immediately.

Inhalation:

Move to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If not breathing, give artificial respiration.

Consult a physician is necessary.

Use: Water spray. Carbon dioxide (CO2). Dry chemical. Foam.

Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Splash Goggles, Gloves, Apron, Dust and Vapor Respirator.

Environmental precautions:

Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so.

Prevent product from entering drains.

Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system.

Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up:

Prevent spreading over a wide area (e.g. by containment or oil barriers)

Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust). Keep in suitable and closed containers for disposal.

Local authorities should be advised if significant spillages cannot be contained.

Handling and storage

Remove and wash contaminated clothing before re-use.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Avoid formation of aerosol. Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in confined areas.

In case of mist, spray or aerosol exposure wear suitable personal respiratory protection and protective suit.
