Description of key information

The determination of flash point of test item was carried out using Pensky-Martens Flash Point test method in accordance with EEC A.9 and CIPAC MT 12. Flash point of test item from preliminary test was found to be 169.8 ºC and 169.5 ºC for Replication 1 and Replication 2 respectively with mean value of 169.7 ± 0.2°C after correction with atmosphericpressure.Flash point of test item from main test was performed in Automatic Pensky-Marten Flash and fire point apparatusresults were found to be 151.9 ºC, 152.0 ºC and 151.7 ºC for Replication 1, Replication 2 and Replication 3 respectively with mean value of 151.9 ± 0.2°C.
