First-aid measures

DESCRIPTION OF FIRST AID MEASURES

- General information: Immediately remove any clothing soiled by the product.

- After inhalation: Supply fresh air and seek medical treatment in case of complaints.

- After skin contact: Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly. If skin irritation continues, consult a doctor.

- After eye contact: Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water, then consult a doctor.

- After swallowing: If swallowed, rinse mouth with water (only if the person is conscious). If vomiting occurs, keep head lower than hips to help prevent aspiration. If symptoms persist consult doctor.

EXTINGUISHING MEDIA

- Suitable extinguishing agents: Special powder for metal fires or dry sand. Do not use water.

- For safety reasons unsuitable extinguishing agents: Water and carbon dioxide.

- Protective equipment: Wear self-contained respiratory protective device and do not inhale explosion gases or combustion gases.

- Additional information: Dispose of fire debris and contaminated fire-fighting water in accordance with official regulations.

- General protective and hygienic measures: Do not inhale dust / smoke / mist and avoid contact with the eyes and skin. Do not eat, drink, smoke or sniff while working, wash hands before breaks and at the end of work. Use skin protection cream for skin protection.

- Respiratory protection: Use suitable respiratory protective device when high concentrations are present. Recommended filter device for short term use: Filter P2 or Filter FFP2.

- Protection of hands: Protective gloves –Butyl rubber (BR) and Nitrile rubber (NBR). Penetration time of glove material - Value for the permeation: Level ≥ 120 min. (EN 374). The exact break through time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be observed.

- Eye protection: Safety glasses

- Body protection: Light weight protective clothing.
