Administrative data
First-aid measures
· General information: Symptoms of poisoning may even occur after several hours; therefore keep under medical observation for at least 48 hours after the accident.
· After inhalation: If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical attention immediately.
· After skin contact: Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly.
· After eye contact: Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water.
· After swallowing: If swallowed, wash out mouth with water provided person is conscious. Call for a doctor immediately.
· Information for doctor: Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
· Suitable extinguishing agents: Water spray, Carbon dioxide, Dry chemical powder or appropriate foam.
· For safety reasons unsuitable extinguishing agents: Avoid use of strong oxidising agents.
· Special hazards caused by the substance, its products of combustion or resulting gases: Thermal decomposition can lead to release of irritating gases and vapors.
· Protective equipment: Wear self contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing to prevent contact with skin and eyes.
Accidental release measures
· Person-related safety precautions: Wear protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons away. Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and clothing. Ensure adequate ventilation.
· Measures for environmental protection: Inform respective authorities in case of seepage into water course or sewage system.
· Measures for cleaning/collecting: Sweep up or vacuum up spillage and collect in suitable container for disposal.
Handling and storage

· Information about fire - and explosion protection: Keep ignition sources away - Do not smoke.

· Requirements to be met by storerooms and receptacles: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from incompatible substances.

Exposure controls / personal protection
· General protective and hygienic measures: Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and feed. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work.
· Respiratory protection: Where risk assessment shows air-purifying respirators are appropriate use a full-face particle respirator type N100 (US) or type P3 (EN 143) respirator cartridges as a backup to engineering controls. If the respirator is the sole means of protection, use a full-face supplied air respirator. Use respirators and components tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (United States) (NIOSH (US)) or European Committee for Standardisation (CEN (EU)).
· Material of gloves: The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks of quality and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.
· Penetration time of glove material: The exact break through time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be
observed.
Stability and reactivity
· Thermal decomposition / conditions to be avoided: Avoid strong heat and excessive light.
· Materials to be avoided: Strong oxidizing agents
· Dangerous reactions Violent reactions possible with strong oxidising agents.
· Dangerous decomposition products: When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of nitrogen oxide, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.
Disposal considerations
· Recommendation
Must not be disposed together with household garbage. Do not allow product to reach sewage system. Contact a licensed professional waste disposal service to dispose of this material. Dissolve or mix the material with a combustible solvent and burn in a chemical incinerator equipped with an after burner and scrubber. Observe all federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
Denmark requires special label: “Contains a substance which is regulated by Danish work environmental law due to the risk of carcinogenic properties”.
