Tests were carried out in closed glass pans and in aluminum pans with a hole. No endothermic effect was observed prior to decomposition of the test substance in the range 135–240 °C, with a decomposition energy of 435 J/g. In an aluminum pan an exothermal effect was observable in the range of 30–160 °C. An exothermal decomposition was observed in the range 200–320 °C with a decomposition energy of 748 J/g.

The heat of decomposition was determined to be above 500 J/g.

Conclusions:
Reactive Navy FC63805 has no melting point between 25–450 °C; exothermic decomposition starting at 140 °C was observed.
Executive summary:

The determination of the melting point and the screening test for explosive properties by DSC, were carried out in closed glass pans and in aluminum pans with a hole.

No endothermic effect was observed prior to decomposition of the test substance in the range 135–240 °C, with a decomposition energy of 435 J/g.
