Description of key information

The test material has been determined to decompose from approximately 389 ± 0.5 K at 101.31 kPa. As the test material decomposed, no value for boiling temperature could be determined. A calculated value of boiling temperature gave a result of greater than 633 K at 101.325 kPa.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
389 K

Additional information

Boiling Temperature. Decomposed from approximately 389 ± 0.5 K at 101.31 kPa, by differential scanning calorimetry, using ASTM E537-86, Method A2 of Commission Directive 92/69/EEC. As the test material decomposed, no value for boiling temperature could be determined. A calculated value of boiling temperature gave a result of greater than 633 K at 101.325 kPa (MPBP for Windows version 1.41, © 2000 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency).
