First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Seek medical attention if you feel unwell

or if exposure prolonged.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least

10 minutes.

Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash affected skin with soap

and plenty of water.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water. Drink plenty of water.

Recommended extinguishing agent: Waterspray, foam, powder, carbon dioxide.

Product arising from burning: Water, oxides of carbon, sulfur, and nitrogen; other toxic

gases and/or vapours are also possible.

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Contain with suitable absorbent material. Scoop into marked

containers for disposal as chemical waste. Flush small

residues away with water.

Handling: Avoid ingestion, inhalation, skin and eye contact. Handle in

accordance with good industrial hygiene practice and any

legal requirements.

Storage: Avoid build up of dust. Take precautionary measures against

static discharge e.g. by using proper earthing techniques.

If container is larger than 2000 liter in volume, or when

flammable solvents are present, the container must be

inerted or the system otherwise designed to prevent or

contain an explosion -seek expert advice. Store in a cool,

dry area with adequate ventilation.
