Description of key information

Short-term toxicity tests are available for all three trophic levels (fish, invertebrates and algae). The 96-hour LC50 in zebrafish is >100 mg/L, the 48-hour EC50 in Daphnia magna is >100 mg/L, and the 72-hour ErC50 and ErC10 values in algae are >100 mg/L and 4.2 mg/L, respectively. In a further long-term toxicity study in Daphnia magna a NOEC of 11 mg/L was determined. In an activated sludge respiration inhibition test a 3-hour IC50 value of >1000 mg/L was observed.
