First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Patienten an die frische Luft bringen. Falls erforderlich,
Atmung durch zusätzliche Sauerstoffzufuhr oder künstliche
Beatmung unterstützen. Arzthilfe.
"ENGLISH"
Move affected person to fresh air. Support breathing if
necessary by the use of supplementary oxygen or
artificial respiration. Seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Mindestens 15 Minuten mit Wasser ausspülen.
"ENGLISH"
Flush with water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical
attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Mit Wasser und Seife abwaschen. Bei Reizerscheinungen Arzt
aufsuchen.
"ENGLISH"
Wash exposed areas with soap and water. Seek medical
attention if any irritation develops.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Patienten an die frische Luft bringen; Arzthilfe
"ENGLISH"
Move persons to fresh air and seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Kohlendioxid, Schaum, Trockenlöschmittel
"ENGLISH"
Carbon dioxide, foam or dry chemical
Product arising from burning: Phosphorpentaoxid
"ENGLISH"
Phosphorus pentaoxide
Product determined by test: N
"ENGLISH"
Material is not combustible, however, in case of fire in
which the material is involved, fire fighters must wear self
contained breathing apparatus with full face mask.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Bei versehentlichem Verschütten muß unausgebildetes Personal
Dabei vorgeschriebene
Schutzkleidung tragen. Den Stoff vorschriftsmäßig entsorgen.
Nicht in die Kanalisation einleiten.
"ENGLISH"
In case of accidental spillage, untrained personnel should
vacate the area immediately. Only authorized emergency
response personnel should work on the containment of the
material, by following the specific safety procedure.
Vacuum all spilled material and place into a closed
container. Wear protective clothing as specified in
section 2.3.1. Dispose of material in accordance with
instructions detailed in section 6.1. Do not discharge
to waste water system.
Handling and storage
Beim Arbeiten in direktem
d.h. Gummihandschuhe, Schutzbrille (ANSI Z87.1989) sowie ein
durch NIOSH genehmigtes Atemgerät mit hochleistungsfähigem
austauschbarem Patronenfilter oder ein unabhängiges
Sauerstoffgerät.
"ENGLISH"
Material is only handled during the loading and unloading of
reactors. This procedure normally takes about 10 to 12 days,
during which workers will be exposed to the material.
Adequate ventilation should be provided to meet permissible
exposure levels in the workplace. When working directly with
material wear approved protective equipment so as to avoid
skin contact, i.e. rubber gloves, safety goggles (ANSI Z87,
1989) and NIOSH approved respiration, hi
Storage: Lagerung in vom USDOT zugelassenen Stahlfässern mit
Kunststoffauskleidung.
"ENGLISH"
Store in plastic lined USDOT approved steel drums.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Vom USDOT zugelassene Stahlfässer mit Kunststoffauskleidung
"ENGLISH"

"ENGLISH"
No known dangers so far.
Disposal considerations
"ENGLISH"
Recovery/recycling of contaminated and uncontaminated
material is possible by high temperature roasting,
extraction and purification. The entire catalyst can be
recycled using this process and generates no residue that
requires disposal or destruction.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Eine Neutralisierung aller eventuell gefährlichen
"ENGLISH"
Neutralisation of any potential hazardous effects is not
possible. All measures recommended in section 2.3, 2.4 and
2.5 should be taken to prevent exposure of the substance to
humans and environment.
"ENGLISH"
The substance may be disposed of by placing it in steel
drums and removing it to a governmentally approved landfill.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Nicht möglich
"ENGLISH"
Not possible
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Nicht in die Kanalisation leiten.
"ENGLISH"
The substance should not be discharged into waste water
systems.
"ENGLISH"
Recycling is the most viable option for this substance. It
is possible to recycle spent or spilled material from any
source regardless of the quantity involved.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Entfällt
"ENGLISH"
The substance will be used in industry only and hence will
not enter the public domain.
