Description of key information

The substance did not inhibit algal growth up to its limit of water solubility (0.08mg/L), under the conditions of the EEC Annex V C3 test guideline.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In a fresh water algal test Scenedesmus subspicatus were exposed to the substance with auxiliary solvent (Dimethyformamide) for 72 hours at its solubility limit (0.1 mg/L nominal concentration), according to the EEC Annex V C3 test guideline. There was no inhibition of algal growth. The 72-h EbC50 was > 0.8 mg/l and the NOEC growth rate was >= > 0.08 mg/L (time-weighted mean measured concentrations).
