According to UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous goods Model Regulations Volume 1, 18th. revised edition (2013) the substance was classified as oxidising solid cat. 2. Thus, no further study has to be conducted.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Dangerous Substance Directive (67/548/EEC)
Based on the literature data and taking into account the provisions laid down in Directive 67/548/EEC (DSD), as amended for the 31st time in Directive 2009/2/EG, the test item has to be classified with respect to oxidising properties, R8 Contact with combustible material may cause fire.

Classification, Labelling, and Packaging Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008
Based on the literature value and taking into account the provisions laid down in Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, as amended for the sixth time in Regulation (EC) No 605/2014, the substance has to be classified as oxidising solid cat. 2 with H272 May intensify fire; oxidizer.
