Description of key information

Experimental value of melting point : 16.95 °C ± 0.15 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
16.95 °C

Additional information

The determination of the melting point was performed according to the regulation (CE) n°440/2008, A.1: “Melting/Freezing temperature” May 2008 and to the OECD Guidelines n° 102: “Melting point / melting range” adopted July, 27, 1995 using the differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). No deviation from the guidelines was observed during the test.

A second peak can also be identified, at 54.8 ° C and 56.2 ° C for 2 and 5 °C/ min respectively. This is related to the fact that the product is a UVCB. Each peak corresponds to the merger of a constituent
