PRA-4 is imported from a non EU Country and immediately used as intermediates; the substance react with an other intermediate to prodeuce athird intermediate.
The substance is loaded in the reactor using a pneumatic aspiration system. This operation is performed in a glove box.
The reactor have a scrubber to contain the emissions.
Sampling is managed under laminar flow hood or glove-box.
The waste are sent to authorized plant using the same containers received from supplier.
Cleaning is managed in closed system under local aspiration.
During these process workers follow the internal procedure and wear appropriate PPE.
Only trained and authorized personnel handle the substance. The workers are provided with training and with a "safety sheet" for each substance they use; this sheet contains the procedures during the normal handling and during the malfunctioning of the process and in accidental situations with the actions to be taken in order to safeguard themself and other workers. Access to all safety data sheet is provided for all workrs.
